01Who we are
This notice is issued by AM Nusantara Limited (Registration No. LL22425), trading as AM Nusantara ("AM Nusantara", "we", "us" or "our"), of Office Suite 1677, Level 16(A), Main Office Tower, Financial Park Complex, Jalan Merdeka, 87000 W.P. Labuan, Malaysia.
We are the data user responsible for your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA"). This notice covers this website and enquiries made through it. If you become a client, the account documents you receive will explain how we handle your data in that relationship.
02Personal data we collect
We collect only what we need to run the website and answer you:
- Enquiry details: your name, email address, organisation, phone number, the type of enquiry and your message, when you use the contact form.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of each request. This is recorded by our hosting server and by Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the site.
- Preferences: your chosen language and colour theme.
Name, email address and message are required to answer an enquiry. Organisation and phone number are optional. If you do not give the required details we cannot respond to you.
Please do not send us sensitive personal data, such as health information, religious beliefs, account numbers or passwords, through the website.
03How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- reply to your enquiry and continue the conversation you started;
- keep the website secure, including blocking spam and limiting repeated submissions;
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including record keeping and anti-money laundering requirements where they apply;
- understand and fix problems with the website.
We do not use your data for marketing unless you have separately agreed to receive it. We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.
By submitting the contact form you consent to us processing your personal data for these purposes.
04Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- service providers that work on our behalf, such as our hosting provider, Cloudflare and our email provider, under obligations to protect it;
- our professional advisers, such as lawyers and auditors;
- regulators, courts, law enforcement or other authorities where the law requires or permits it;
- our related companies, where needed to answer your enquiry;
- a buyer or successor of our business, if it is reorganised or sold.
05Transfers outside Malaysia
Some of our service providers, including Cloudflare and Google Fonts, process data on servers outside Malaysia. Where personal data is transferred abroad we take steps required by section 129 of the PDPA so that it remains protected to a comparable standard.
06How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or you become a client. Server and security logs are kept for a shorter period, normally no more than 90 days. When data is no longer needed we delete it or make it anonymous.
07How we protect it
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiries are stored in a restricted location on our server and access is limited to staff who need it.
No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and the people affected as the PDPA requires.
09Third-party content
Market data on the website comes from Yahoo Finance and Bank Negara Malaysia. Our server fetches this data, so your browser does not connect to those services and they do not receive your details.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address under its own privacy policy.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for how those websites handle your data.
10Your rights
Under the PDPA you may:
- ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, and for a copy of it;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or out of date;
- withdraw your consent, or ask us to limit how we process your data;
- ask us to stop using your data for direct marketing;
- ask us to transmit your data to another data user, where this right applies and is technically feasible.
Send your request via our contact form. We may need to confirm your identity first, and may charge the fee allowed by the PDPA regulations for access requests. We will respond within 21 days.
11Children
This website is meant for adults and institutions. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
12Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
